HR Bespoke

Informed by artisanal craftsmanship, zero-waste principles, and a deep respect for the sentimental value of fine materials, Holly Ryan jewellery is handcrafted by Holly to create modern heirlooms, each piece unique to the wearer. Jewelry is worn and lived in every day. It moves with you through time. Each piece is made with the hope it will be worn for many years, holding meaning and gathering character through wear.

Custom work develops through a collaborative process. Projects may include designing an engagement ring, reworking an existing piece, resetting an heirloom stone, or creating something entirely new. The process usually includes a series of sketches, stone sourcing, and wax models for review. Many clients also choose to add hand engraving as a final detail.

My bespoke process is intentionally small-scale and high-touch, designed to be intimate and considered. I make each piece to order, a collaboration to craft a symbolic marker of time, a piece to honour your story. Responsible practices are an ongoing process and part of my design decision-making, from concept to design, sourcing, and production I work locally, supporting independent suppliers and small businesses close to home.

Process

1. Pre-Consultation
   Before we meet, either virtually or in person, you will complete a detailed pre-consultation form outlining the occasion, stone and metal of choice, ring size, design or style inspiration and timeline. This allows me to understand your vision so our consultation is purposeful and focused.
   

2. Consultation
   In a one-on-one consultation we will discuss ideas, refine the design direction, and further explore materials including ethically sourced stone options.
   

3. Concept & Design
   I will translate the inspiration and ideas from our consult into a bespoke design, making adjustments collaboratively until the final concept is ready to be crafted.
   

4. Creation
   Your bespoke piece will then be handcrafted by me, in my studio in Northern Rivers, Bundjalung Country, an heirloom to be honoured for generations.
